Sartell Farm

Sartell Farm is a working sheep farm also providing educational tours by appointment. We raise and sell purebred Oxford sheep, lamb meat, wool products, sheepskins, hay, and farm fresh eggs.

Ted and Felicia Sartell bought a former dairy farm dating back to the 1800s on 26 acres of land in Temple, NH in 1994. Their children, Nate and Kate were just old enough to join 4-H and they purchased two bred ewes to start their 4-H sheep projects. When the family moved to the farm no animals had been on the property for several years. Pastures and fields were overgrown, fences needed to be rebuilt, and the barn and house needed significant repairs. Over the years they have restored the buildings and land and gradually expanded the sheep flock. The Sartells have competed with their sheep at fairs all over NH and at The Big E in Springfield, MA. In recent years, Kate has learned about wool and fiber processing from FiberDreams Farm in Temple, NH. The wool from the Sartell sheep is processed into felt, roving, yarn, knit goods and crafts. The farm also proudly offers their highest quality, locally and humanely raised lamb for sale to you right here in New Hampshire. Sartell Lamb is available for purchase by the whole or half as well as individual retail cuts. Lamb can be purchased at the farm and is also available at Trombly Gardens farmstand in Milford, NH.
